Chance and I were lucky enough to go along with my mom to a business meeting in New York we had a blast! I was able to go for Christmas a few years ago but it was so fun to see it in both the winter and the summer. There sure were alot more tourists in the summer but it sure was fun! Chance had never been so it was a great get a way!
Chance is in front of Tom's Resturant. It is the one off of Seinfield. We ate inside as well. The inside is different from what is filmed but the outside is the same. This was a fun adventure it was on 112th.
This is the main subway entrance in Time Square. We rode the subway everywhere we loved it!
In time square they have a huge staircase for concerts and such and we sat down and decided to take a pic.
This is where the ball drop on New Years Eve!
The studio for David Letterman's late show.
Chance wanted to touch the birds like they do on Home Alone the movie. This was as close as we got.
This is the LDS Temple in New York. It is pretty cool. It has 4 levels and one level is the temple another is the chapel and then another is the distibution center. It is pretty neat.
This is the Plaza Hotel from Home Alone. It is only $800 a night to stay in the cheap room:0)
The inside of the Plaza Hotel
This is in Central Park where Kevin in the movie Home Alone is running away from the bad guys.
This is another picture from Central Park it is really pretty. It is huge it is almost 12 blocks if I remember right cars can drive through it and everything it is huge!
The Rockefeller Plaza where they film the Today show and this turns into a skating rink in the winter.
The above pics are of the live showing of the Today show and where they film it in the NBC studios.
The view from the Empire State building.
The Tiffany store. It has 6 levels of jewlery there is a security guard that is pretty much assigned to each person and the elevators are heavily monitored it is pretty fun store.
This is the original wooden escalator in the Macy's store. It has 9 levels and 3 of those levels are just shoes!!
Ground Zero. You can see they are still constructing quite a bit. The building off to the side has to come down level by level because it has so much chemical toxins in it.
The Brooklyn Bridge. We walked across it. It was fun and we didn't get to do this in the winter it was too cold so it was fun to go all the way across in the summer.
This was a trees roots that were up rooted during 9/11. They painted it and put it here as a memorial.
The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
The guitar wall at Hard Rock cafe.
Radio City Music Hall where the Rockettes perform. We didn't see them in New York but we saw them in Utah when they came.
